As I am a Eurasian, I was a bit hesitant on whether the paste would taste authentic!
Must to my surprise, the taste was very good. The taste was similar to how how I prepared the the ingredients the long way.
I cooked it for my family of 4 and used 2 packets and a whole chicken (keeping leftovers for later). Thank you for making my cooking sessions delightful and stress free.

1st time purchase fr Nyonyalite, want to try to cook this iconic peranakan dish which my hubby loves. 4 packs of buah keluak paste. Cooked 1st pack yest, usee 6 ckn drumlets, per package instruction. During cooking, tasted the paste, i added half tsp sugar. My hubby was initially sceptical that i used a package paste to cook this dish, which his late mom used to spend so much time & effort to make. This paste is so convenient and taste great, glad i bought 4 pks. 👍
